Make more of the resources you already have

From guided activities to private lessons, discover how Shared Resources helps you offer more experiences using the staff, equipment, and spaces already available at your property.

Hotels and resorts rely on the same resources to deliver many different experiences. A fleet of kayaks might be available for individual rentals and guided excursions. A tennis court might support private lessons, clinics, and open play. A massage therapist may deliver several different treatments throughout the day.

But when these experiences are managed independently, keeping track of availability becomes complicated.

A kayak reserved for a guided tour shouldn't also be available for an individual rental. A treatment shouldn't be bookable without both a therapist and an available treatment room.

With Shared Resources, properties can connect the same inventory across multiple experiences, manage its availability in one place, and automatically account for everything required to fulfill a booking.

One set of resources. More experiences to offer

Consider a waterfront resort with 12 kayaks.

The property offers individual kayak rentals, guided coastal excursions, and private kayaking lessons. All three experiences depend on the same fleet of equipment.

Without shared inventory, managing availability across these offerings requires careful coordination. Each experience needs to account for resources already committed elsewhere.

Shared Resources lets you use the same kayaks across all three experiences.

If eight kayaks are reserved for a morning excursion, only four remain available for other activities during that time. As bookings are made, availability is automatically updated across every connected experience.

The same approach works throughout your property:

  • Bikes & Cycling Tours. Offer individual bike rentals alongside guided tours using the same fleet.
  • Tennis Courts. Share court availability across private lessons, clinics, and recreational play.
  • Water Sports. Use the same paddleboards or kayaks for rentals, group excursions, and private instruction.
  • Staff & Instructors. Connect guides and instructors to multiple activities without overlapping their schedules.

Rather than dedicating resources to a single experience, make them available wherever they can be used.

Bring everything needed for an experience together

Some experiences require more than one resource to operate.

Consider a guided kayaking excursion. The experience requires both kayaks for guests and a guide to lead the group. Even with kayaks available, the excursion shouldn't be bookable without an available guide.

Or consider a private massage. A treatment requires both a therapist and a treatment room. Having one available without the other isn't enough to fulfill the booking.

With Shared Resources, you can connect multiple resources to a single experience and let Way check their availability together.

For example:

  • Guided Kayak Excursion. Requires one kayak per guest and an available guide.
  • Private Tennis Lesson. Requires an instructor and one tennis court.
  • Spa Treatment. Requires a therapist and an available treatment room.
  • Guided Nature Tour. Requires a tour guide and enough transportation capacity for the group.

Guests can only book when the resources needed for their experience are available.

Instead of manually comparing schedules and inventory, your team can offer more complex activities with greater confidence.

Keep availability organized across your property

As your property introduces more experiences, keeping track of staff, equipment, and spaces becomes increasingly important.

Some resources are available throughout the day. Others have operating hours, scheduled shifts, or periods when they're unavailable.

Shared Resources lets you manage the availability of each resource independently, while Way accounts for existing bookings across connected experiences.

Whether an instructor is only available in the afternoons, a treatment room has limited operating hours, or equipment is already reserved for another activity, your experiences reflect the availability of the resources behind them.

Your team spends less time reconciling schedules and more time delivering the experiences guests have booked.

Make more of what you already have

Offering more experiences doesn't always require purchasing more equipment, adding more staff, or expanding your facilities.

Sometimes, the opportunity is making better use of the resources already available.

Shared Resources gives properties the flexibility to use the same inventory across multiple offerings, combine resources to deliver more complex experiences, and manage availability without duplicating inventory.

More ways for guests to book. More opportunities to use your existing resources. One place to keep everything connected.
